Earlier in the day, Ishan Kishan became the highest-paid player in the TATA IPL Auctions 2022 as he was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 15.25 Crores. Deepak Chahar was the second most expensive buy as he was bought for Rs 14 Cr by Chennai Super Kings and Shreyas Iyer was taken for a price of Rs 12.25 Cr by KKR. Shikhar Dhawan was the first player sold in the IPL Auction 2022 for Rs 8.25 cr to Punjab Kings.
