Live market updates: With Brent Crude trading at $130 a barrel and downbeat global sentiment, the benchmark indices started trade with deep cuts on Monday. The BSE Sensex fell 1,400 points to 52,938, while the NSE Nifty50 cracked 385 points to 15,856.
On the Sensex, top laggards were ICIC Bank, Maruti, Bajaj Finance, L&T, and Asian Paints , down up to 5 per cent.
